Genesis

With the help of his father, Joe Negron built his first computer at age 7. The Altair didn't do much - but (technically) it was the first commercially available PC. While the other kids struggled with geometry, Joe and six others were pulled aside and taught advanced triginometry. He began programming BASIC (on Commodore VIC20's) in grammer school & PASCAL (on Apple II's) shortly thereafter. He then moved on to LOTUS & dBase when it still took over an hour to load these programs onto a 16Mhz IBM PC via a cassette tape.

Joe's career started before he was old enough to drive when he was hired to create a receivables processing system for the DeHanes Model Company, a local business that built custom (Lionel style) train sets. He paid his way through college working as a mainframe operator for First Savings Bank. Starting as a telephone technician, he moved into the corporate world as a Certified Network Engineer, by age 23. He later went on to become the Director of IS for Cortel Business Systems and designed Local and Wide Area Networks (LANs & WANs) for fortune 1000 companies in NYC.

In 1993, Joe Negron also founded Logic Systems - a group of college students that outsourced network and internet technologies to other service providers. Logic Systems serviced and upgraded personal computers. We targeted companies that were trying to berak into New York City's computer services market - and we did it for them. They had customers; we had skills! For several years, we built turnkey networks - One server at a time...

In 1994, The acronym LOGIC (Local or Global Interconnected Computer) was invented. The business plan was so simple -- it fit on the back of a bar napkin: "Upgrade our clients' 286s to 386s -- so they can run Windows or be used as servers". It was a win-win situation. We made money by saving our customers thousands of dollars -- this became our mantra. The second phase was "to buy inexpensive or used 286 computers; upgrade them; and sell them at a profit”.  As years went on, LOGIC Systems evolved into an internetwork consulting firm. We began installing Novell, Netware and Windows NT file servers, as well as PC support and maintenance. In 1995 we expanded to include Sun Microsystems, Solaris, and Linux servers, in preparation for LogicSys.Net, Inc., a home-based Internet service provider (ISP). We began offering services in January 1996; we had grown to service over 300 users in less than six months. The market became saturated with the likes of IBM, Microsoft (MSN) and AOL. We then restructured.

WWWizards, Inc. (DBA: LOGIC Wizards) was incorporated in January 1997 as a  “C” Corporation it is an Internet Consulting Firm. LOGIC Wizards combines the Art of Computer service, Networking Programming, and Telecommunications. Since then, we've been providing state of the art business technology solutions to our customers. Our service ranges from the most basic PC upgrades to the complete IT outsourcing.  LOGIC Wizards' current business falls into two categories. The LOGIC division installs, services, and maintains complex computer and telephone networks. WWWizards provides custom graphics, programming, database, and E-Commerce software.

Our Niche

In just a few short years, the Internet has gone from novelty to a necessity. According to estimates by Gartner, the global market for computer and related services was $US569 billion in 2003 and is expected to reach $US700 billion by 2007. According to Financial Times, E-Commerce and Internet Telephony are the biggest growth sectors on the Internet. Companies who integrated the Internet into their business model dominate today’s business world.  The rest are struggling to remain competitive. At LOGIC Wizards, our heritage as one of the founding institutions of the Internet makes us uniquely qualified to help you leverage your organization’s knowledge through Internet-based technologies.
